Special assistance

Disabled travellers are assured the same comforts and rights as all other passengers. Greenland Airports comply with EU Regulation 1107/2006, which requires that all airports in Europe offer assistance to persons with reduced mobility (PRM).

If you need assistance, please inform your airline or tour operator before your departure, usually 48 hours in advance. This applies to assistance through the airport as well as on board your flight.

Disabled facilities at Nuuk Airport

Disabled parking is available and Nuuk Airport near the terminal entrance. There are also elevators and wheel-chair friendly paving and flooring in all areas of the terminal.

We recognise the Sunflower symbol

Our staff are trained to recognise and assist anyone wearing the HDSunflower symbol, indicating travellers with hidden disabilities. They understand that airports can be overwhelming places and can help make your journey more comfortable.
